Whether in career or in life, “show, not tell” is a great heuristic to evaluate ourselves and others. Actions speak louder than words.
In the product design context, a good portfolio case study uses minimal words to convey the problem solving process. When there are too many words, chances are no one is going to read things through. It also says something about the designer’s communication skills.
In life, people whose actions are consistent with their words are unstoppable. Following up after bumping into someone and saying “we should catch up some time.” Showing up after committing to a habit. Doing the things they said they are going to do.
Consistency is underrated. It not only cultivates a better self-image but also builds up trust with others. It’s simple but not easy.
Absolutely!🥹🫶🏽
Soooooo, I was kinda almost giving up on posting consistently (On IG)🫠 and then I noticed that this happened cos I was on a marathon even on weekends. I barely had time to rest and this can also be a factor that stops us from being consistent.😮💨
I believe that in order to be effectively consistent, you need to be realistic💯 with your time & discipline plus, taking your health seriously in whatever you are pursuing.🍀
It's also something I've noticed with your newsletters -> you named it slowly but surely for a reason and to me that actually depicts consistency.👌🏽👌🏽
It might be slow, it might take some time, but surely it will get done🤗 and it does help pay off in future.
Misseedd yaaa content🥹😆, thanks for this Andy!🧡💃🏽✨
